The Haunting of Nathaniel Wolfe

My new book is published in the UK next week by Orchard Books. What can I tell you about it? Well imagine, if you will, that you find yourself standing outside a shabby meeting hall at seven o'clock on a foggy London evening in the year 1862. It is numbingly cold and the people queuing up outside the hall shiver as they shuffle slowly forwards, one by one. They never come in pairs to such events, for they are solitary individuals. Each of them has lost a loved one. That is why they are here. They have been drawn to this place by posters stuck up all over the East End that read:

Wednesday 3rd March
Cicero Wolfe
Medium, Clairvoyant, Summoner of Spirits
The dead will speak from beyond the grave

Inside the hall Nathaniel Wolfe, the medium's son, sits on a stool, collecting the entrance fees. For him, this is just an ordinary evening. But what Nathaniel doesn't realise is that his father is meddling with things he cannot control. Before the night is over Nathaniel will find himself in the middle of a chilling mystery that can only be solved from beyond the grave.

It's a thrilling story of the supernatural set among the winding streets of Victorian London. Try it. I think you'll like it.

Your new books does sound interesting Mr. Keaney; just wanted to comment as I have just finished Jacob's Ladder (which I found through chance) and managed to finish it in a few hours (couldn't put it down). Keep writing Mr. Keaney, you're good at it.

Thanks Deanna. That's very kind of you. The truth is, I couldn't stop writing even if I wanted to. My head is full of novels clamouring to get out.
